Customer questions & answers
Question: Can a 6 foot tall person stand up in side?
Answer: Yes my husband is 6’2 and had no problem!Question: what is the size of carry case
Answer: About 5.5 feet long, 1.5 feet wide, and 1 foot high. Give or takeQuestion: How waterproof is this tent. Anyone have leaks?
Answer: I have lived in my tent for 70 days on wildfires; we've been hit a few times with very heavy winds and rain. I only noticed that I got a couple splatters of water at both ends where the rainfly clips down.....not sure why, but I sprayed some extra waterproofing above the eye hooks on both ends and it's been fine since.Question: Does it keep cool in the summer? Does it have a dark room feature?
Answer: The windows help but you have to keep the middle divider open for max air flow. The walls are thick enough that it was very dark inside. -

Can't say enough about the Gazelle tents. We have 2 of the smaller tents that are half the size and they are awesome (doors just are tiny and a little annoying to manage. The doorway on this one is way better especially if like me (really my wife) needs a air mattress to sleep on. With the little tents the mattress needs to be inside the tent BEFORE YOU BLOW IT UP or you'll never get it in.....This one you can fit through the door with the whole mattress, not happening on the smaller one..... (lesson learned) They are so easy to setup and this one is not much harder... The first time you will have to find the flooring to make it easy to get set up quickly but you won't find an easier tent this size to setup. A little disclaimer though, if you aren't already aware. THESE ARE VERY LONG WHEN BROKEN DOWN (SAME AS t4 in length) but they are like 6 feet long when colapsed. not going to fit in your sedan, so keep that in mind before ordering. you will likely need to toss these in a bed of a truck or lay your seats down (2nd and 3rd row) just to get this in there. although, THEY DID FIT ACROSS THE BACK SEAT OF MY TUNDRA!!! but forget about it in a small vehicle unless you want to stick it out the window!
Jeff*********rdesSet up in 60 secs with 2 people before staking and fly. Did not read instructions but had watched some videos prior to ordering. The only thing was that I had to pop up one of the roofs several times to get it to open symmetrically. Hopefully this won’t case future issues. The materials are high quality and everything makes sense. I am looking forward to my first trip mid April.
Bet*******rksEasy set up. Great space. Love the bathtub flooring.
Kr****nI’m 5’3”, 125lbs and can set it up and break it down all by myself. It’s so roomy. Love the pockets, the zip windows, everything. I took it for a test run last weekend and have zero complaints. I had the smaller gazelle tent before this and loved it, just wanted something bigger. So far, loving the upgrade!
Mi*****stOnce it’s out of the bag i can fully stand this up in 90 seconds, no problem for real. But i use pop up deer blinds lot. It’s super easy, but it takes about 7-10 minutes to stake it down and get the rain cover on and everything not rushing. the only unknown is how it sheds water but i’m guessing it’s going to be perfect. it’s cavernous inside because of the pop outs they make additional room. And it has an incredible amount of pocket space. It’s a 10 out of 10. It is as good as advertised.
Chr******rcyI've been searching for a tent to satisfy my family and this is the one. I'm not knocking any of the other tents I've owned (Coleman, Nemo, etc.), those were also good tents. But my family would always complain they were either too small, too big, takes too long to set up/take down, you can't stand up it stretch out. I got the T4 and loved it but sense my wife and son like to sleep on cots, there wasn't any room left for gear and other stuff so I purchased the T4 Plus and it fits our family's needs perfectly! We just got back from a 5 night camping trip with the last 2 days having severe weather with heavy rain, strong winds and even had tornado watches and warnings. Obviously the tent couldn't stand up to a tornado so we had to take shelter - but for the heavy rains and strong winds, it performed very well! This has been the ONLY tent my wife has liked. I love the T4 Plus and highly recommend it!
D***sWill change if this tent changes my mind after taking it on camping trips lol. This tent is spacious, well thought out, and comes with a good bag to carry it (order the tent before also getting the weatherproof bag). Take your time first time and read the instructions, and this tent makes good sense. I wouldn't say "90 seconds" to set up, but for sure under 3 minutes from unzipping the bag to getting the walls popped out so your better half can start getting the bed set up while you hammer in stakes and attach the rain fly. Lots of storage space inside, very well thought out materials and design, and I am very excited to get to use it for the first time! This tent is actually really cooperative in putting back in the bag. I was able to get the bag to zip all the way first time around.
Sa*****neWhat a tent! It was a breeze to set up solo - I also purchased the footprint to put underneath it, which was thick and well made. Staking out all the guy lines took longer than actually assembling the tent itself. The tent has held steady in my backyard for the last two days, after being subjected to high winds and several hours of sustained rainfall. The materials its made of feel tough and high quality, and I like the abundance of gear lofts/storage pockets. I plan on placing a couple of moving blankets from Harbor Freight on the floors of both rooms for added protection. I'm also quite pleased that my monster Teton XXL cot fits in it, too! Should be a nice home for me and my pup on next month's camping trip.
D**eSet up in my yard. Boyfriend was surprised, he walked away for a bit, came back and I had it up already 💥 in sixty seconds or less even. Then we had to put the rain fly on and tie the guy lines. There’s three poles to install in the front, two long on either side and short one ☝️ up top. Before we put those in my Huskador puppy, 50lbs, body slammed the screen door multiple times while I was freaking out but no damage was done phew! So I’d say the screen is strong. It’s a beautiful tent and so much space inside. I took a long long time to decide which tent and honestly didn’t want to spend so much but this is definitely a quality product. I noticed right away unpacking it that the fabric it’s made of is thick and nice. It has a lot of the features I wanted like pop up, screen room with floor, large, no real bad reviews ect…So we set it up then it rained for like three days. The tent had no bugs and not a single drop of water anywhere which is what I paid for! Yay! Then we had to take it down which was also easy. If you look at the two direction photos it shows on the tent bag tag the roof points down and the legs fold upwards while folding in the fabric to fit. Then putting it in the bag was easy. They give you enough room and then you can tighten it down with the attached three Velcro straps. It was kind of long to store in the car but I folded down the single back seat and we’ll store it lengthwise there. It also fit corner to corner in my cars cargo hitch carrier. Thank you! I love this tent so much!
Ra****dFirst I love it, I have lived in it for now for almost 2 months on a job site. I keep the dirty stuff and storage in the front and my bed, computer and flatscreen TV in the back, home away from home. Never in a million years can you set this up in 90 seconds as they advertised. Shure rip it out of the bag, throw it on the ground and pull all the sides it is up, but that is not really not ready to camp. Unfolding everything, laying everything out, doing a tarp, 8 tent stakes, rolling up the fly or staking it, etc. 10-20 minutes depending on practice. Big and heavy, but it is a big tent, probably not going to fit in a small car. Floor space is 110 SQ Ft but it is much, much bigger inside all around because the sides pop out, very nice. The two rooms with a divider is great. Doors open out on both sides so people can change and sleep in semi-private. The material is very nice and extra thick with waterproof coating on the inside, someone said the material soaked up water like a sponge, I did not see that (see pictures). The floor is very thick and waterproof. I was worried about the Velcro on the front bottom door flaps, but it turned out to be super strong Velcro and works great. Considering I had to get rid of few tents because zippers broke, Velcro is pretty reliable. I didn't even stake out the fly, I had it rolled up the whole time on the sides so I could see out the windows and get better flow and the windows did not leak when zipped up. I really like how the fly does not touch the tent and has a large overhang. I was worried about the floor being removable and would allow water to enter, but it is in a bucket shape so it can sit in 5 inches of standing water and not leak, better than any other tent I have owned. There was some seeping of water in the stitching at the bottom corners (see picture), but it did not get inside the tent because of the bucket floor. I am just going to brush some waterproofing sealant on the stiches and won’t happen again. The aluminum
